This month Xbox Games Pass came in strong again with more scary titles, including additional zombie games (Walking dead: A New Froniter & Michonne), as well as Vampire Survivors and the new Warhammer 40,000 Darktide. However, much of the Xbox Games Pass is mature or teen. Several of the new titles do not have a released ESRB yet as well. I think this is going to continue to be the trend as Microsoft uses the pass to launch titles. Xbox Games with Gold carries over the Bomber Crew for a bit longer, and I will still say this is an ok one for the younger audience at E 10+, and also has a spooky title that is ok for kids, Dead End Job. Lastly we have Playstation Plus that includes one mature game that is quite popular, Nioh 2, but also 2 child friendly games, Heavenly Bodies and The Lego Harry Potter Collection. I had not heard of Heavenly Bodies but it looks like a fun co-op physics game in space. Also, you can’t beat experiencing Harry Potter’s years 1-4 and 5-7 in Lego form. Overall I’d say the Xbox Games Pass has adults covered for spooky games once again, but the best content for kids is available with Playstation Plus.
